The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) is going to release the GSEB Class 12 Results 2019 on its official website on May 9, 2019.
Board officials said 57,734 students had taken the exam in the ‘A’ group, with physics, chemistry and mathematics. Some 76,888 students took the examination in the ‘B’ group, with physics, chemistry and biology. Just 19 students chose the ‘AB’ group, with physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics.
The admission committee for professional courses stated that the last date for admission for engineering and pharmacy was May 14. Board officials said that there was no possibility of extending the date for filing online application as the results are being announced on time and students have four days to file their online admission forms.
In 2017, 7,75,013 students had appeared for the HSC examination and the result for which was released on May 17. The pass percentage for Class 12 was 68.24%. Last year the girls had outperformed boys with 73.33% against 64.69% for boysThe pass percentage for science stream students was 81.89 percent in which 1,38,727 students had participated in 2017.
