Education Qualification

Age Limit

• ]The candidate’s minimum age should be 18 Years and maximum age should be 23 Years as on Notification Date.
• Relaxation in Upper Age Limit is applicable to Reserve Categories candidates as per Government of India Norms and Rules.

• Pay salary for SSC Constable GD Posts: Pay Level-3 (Rs 21,700-69,100)

• The application submission fees for Aspirants: All Other Candidates – Rs. 100/-
• Form submission fees for Candidate: SC, ST, Female, Ex-Servicemen – NIL
• Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa,

• Apply: Click on the “Apply” link in the “Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026” section.
• Fill Details: Fill in the application form carefully. Give preference for CAPFs (7 options).
• Uploads: Upload your live photograph (via webcam/app) and scanned signature.
• Pay Fee: Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- (if applicable).
• Print: Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Exam Pattern: SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026

The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each.

• Time Duration: 60 Minutes
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
• Languages: English, Hindi, and 13 Regional Languages (including Gujarati).

Physical Standards (PST & PET)

Physical Standard Test (PST):

• Height:
  • Male: 170 cms
  • Female: 157 cms
• Chest (Male only):
  • Un-expanded: 80 cms
  • Minimum Expansion: 5 cms

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (Race):

• Male: 5 Km in 24 minutes.
• Female: 1.6 Km in 8 ½ minutes.
• (Note: Different standards apply for candidates of Ladakh Region).
