JOB Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Technical Examination Board, University or institution, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
• A candidate holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is not eligible to apply.
• Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Selection Proccess

• Final Selection will be based on Exam, Merit and Document Verification.

The exam is a single-stage, objective MCQ competitive exam in CBRT/OMR mode, with one paper of two parts. The paper level is equal to the educational qualification.

• Negative marking: 1/4 of the marks of the question is deducted for a wrong answer.
• Qualifying standard: a minimum of 40% marks in Part-A and 40% marks in Part-B separately.
• A Provisional Answer Key is published after the exam, and the Final Answer Key after considering objections.
• About two times the number of candidates against the posts of each category are called for certificate verification on the basis of merit.
