The GPSC DySO Result 2024 Advt. No. 42/2023-24 was recently released by the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC).
The following 3342 candidates have been provisionally qualified for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam held by the Gujarat Public Service Commission on 15.10.2023 for the Advt. No. 42/2023-24, Deputy Section Officer, Class-3। Candidates who meet all eligibility requirements stated in Advt. No. 42/2023-24 are provisionally qualified for the Main Written Examination.

All these candidates must reapply for admission to the main examination using the detailed application form in accordance with the rules of the examination।

Cut-off marks refer to the marks that the last candidate received in the relevant category in the merit list।
Eight (8) questions are removed according to Final Answer key। The Commission has therefore decided to distribute the cancelled marks among 192 questions on pro-rata basis. Each question was evaluated with 1.042 marks for the correct answer and (-) 0.313 marks for the wrong/multiple encoded/blank answer.
When reserved category candidates have higher cut-off marks than general category candidates, reserved category candidates’ cut-off marks must be lowered to match those of general category candidates.
According to the General Administration Department’s Government Resolution No. CRR-1077-2660-G.2, dated: 25.02.1980, the result of the candidates with sports is prepared after adding the Bonus Mark। Bonus points are 5% of the candidate’s marks.
